Dr Tarja Cronberg is an academic and a politician in security and defence. Most recently as a politician she, as a member of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee and subcommittee for Security and Defence,
worked with the Iran nuclear issue as the Chair of the EP´s delegation for relations with Iran. Currently, she is a Distinguished Associate Fellow at the Stockholm International Peace Research Insitute , SIPRI and a member of the Board of European Leadership Network working for nuclear disarmament and European security. She is the vice-presedent of the IPB and the chair of the Middle Powers Initiative, under the Global Security Instititute, N.Y.
