International Association of World Peace Advocates

We work to promote peace and harmony in various local communities across the globe and to ensure that the aims and objectives of the United Nations in the maintenance of global peace is been achieved by engaging local stakeholders whose peaceful disposition will better the communities for which they belong. Our work plan for 2013 is to train about 1000 Nigeria Students as On-line Peace Volunteers and commission them to participate in global peacemaking. Hence our mission is anchored on peacemaking at local villages and communities with the intention to achieving universe peace, we have indeed advance our network which at now has made traditional rulers, clergymen, youths bodies to becoming a non-violent actors in their respect places.

Conflict Prevention and Peace Building Initiative

CPPBI is an umbrella group founded in 2010 (but formally registered in 2014 with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria – CAC/IT/67215); it is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and humanitarian orgnization that is committed to the prevention of violent conflicts in Africa. it has no individual membership yet, though it has provision to do that in future. the Executive Director publishes the organization's thoughts on peace, security and other pressing issues of general human concern in some local and international newspapers and magazines some of which can be found on the publican page of its website.

The Ribbon International

The Ribbon of Tangible Hope: has inspired many peopole around the world to express their thoughts on panels of cloth of what they hold near and dear to their hearts. The process of creating Ribbons, joining Ribbon panels in events and exhibiting Ribbons calls attention to peace, disarmament and care of the enivronment and helps people find common ground about what they care about. Started by Justine Merritt in 1982, a grandmother and former school teacher, she is one woman who made a difference, inspiring people to think and act from her idea to surrouond the US Pentagon and the A-Bomb Memorial in Horoshima, in 1985 with Ribbons. The original theme of the Ribbon project “What I cannot bear to think of as lost forever in a nuclear war.”
