Disarmament for Development in the 21st Century.While that work attempted to describe the nature of the problems facing us, the new publication sketches out some approaches to campaigning in opposition to militarism, and offers summary accounts of 18 projects undertaken by civil society groups around the world.

IPB´s new book, Warfare or Welfare, sets out information and arguments that form the basis of IPB´s new programme, Disarmament for Development. You can preview some chapters of the book in various parts of this site. The two principal themes are military spending and the effects of weapons systems on development. We encourage all IPB members and supporters to order copies. It is also available in Geneva.
