The IPB hosts a small number of internships throughout the year. The tasks of these interns vary according to their skills and our needs, but may include researching various topics, organizing events, compiling our Newsletter, maintaining websites, handling social media, representing IPB at meetings at UN or elsewhere, translating documents, designing promotional material, etc.
Please read carefully the different options that IPB offers and contact us if you have any questions.
We enjoy working with students and young graduates on our different projects and hope to contribute to their career by providing hands-on experience.
The IPB Secretariat is a small team, which allows the intern to touch on many different topics and work on a range of tasks at the same time. Interns can work full or part time but should commit to stay at least 3 months. We speak English and French in the office and also use other languages when communicating with our networks. A high level of written English is important. Skills with social media/video are especially appreciated.
Our budget for supporting interns is very limited. However a small monthly contribution to rental costs can be envisaged. Let us know if you need to make use of this facility. Accommodation is not easy to find in Geneva but we can help you find something suitable.
IMPORTANT: Dates and availability are negotiable and flexible. IPB also offers the opportunity to work remotely. Do not hesitate to contact the Secretariat if you want to learn more and to discuss the possibility of interning with us. Send an email to email@example.com.
IPB is seeking to fill 3 internship positions, from late August 2015 onwards.
