Lumbini World Peace Forum was initially conceptualized by a group of young people from diverse professional backgrounds from Nepal back in 2011 with an intent to promote Nepal as a hub of world peace. It was officially institutionalized in 2015. “To ensure better global network of peace activists and peace initiatives, we aim to establish Lumbini World Peace Forum chapters in all regions of Nepal, in South Asia, the south-east Asian region, North America and around the world before 2018.”
