Theo Valois Souza Ferreira holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU-Brazil), and a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from the Universidade de Évora (Portugal), with intern stays at the Instituto de la Paz y los Conflictos (UGR-Granada, Spain) and at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research of Uppsala Universitet (Sweden). Planning to start a Ph.D. in the second half of 2023.
Theo’s previous experiences includes work for the public sector (institutional relations), private sector (start-ups) and as a volunteer at another international organization (AIESEC). His main professional interests orbit research and academic activities around the fields of Peace Studies and Research, International Relations history and theories, and Postcolonial/Decolonial perspectives. Now within IPB, new interests around peace activism and Disarmament for Development are emerging.
